The committee's task is to complement the Faculty's professional efforts by providing students with career guidance, multidisciplinary support and learning support. They also have the task of offering methodological support to lecturers, facilitating communication between students and lecturers, mediating in problem situations and helping to find solutions.

The committee works in collaboration with the faculty, the University psychologists and the Faculty Student Government.

The size of the committee will depend on the case under consideration, but will consist of at least 2 members. Its members shall be appointed by the Dean of the Faculty for a period not exceeding the term of office of the members of the Faculty Council. The Chairperson is appointed by the Faculty Council.

The purpose of the YBL NET was threefold. Firstly, and also in order to reduce student drop-out, our priority is to support students in their academic life and in the problems they face in their studies. We welcome students to contact us with any difficulties they may be experiencing, whether they are related to subjects, fellow students, lecturers, dormitory life or even personal problems. We also work with the University's psychologists and the Student Union to find solutions.
Another important aim of the NET is to support effective dialogue between teachers and students. In the event of any conflict, we mediate between the parties involved, while ensuring anonymity, in order to ensure that learning and teaching are effective and that everyone can work together to make this possible.
Our third objective is to support trainers methodologically. We offer help with all issues that arise in the work of teachers, whether they relate to students or to the methodology of teaching.
We consider it an important task to use all the means at our disposal to help ensure the conditions for effective professional work in a good community.
