"The renovation of the building of the former Heim Pál Children's Hospital in Veszprém and its transformation into a large-scale cultural centre has been completed: on 12 May, the ActiCity Dance and Movement Centre was inaugurated at a ceremony.

As we reported earlier, the largest cultural infrastructure development of the Veszprém-Balaton European Capital of Culture 2023 programme was carried out by a consortium of VEMÉV-SZER Ltd. and VeszprémBer Építő Kft., and the project resulted in the restoration of the institution, which had been disused for decades in the centre of Veszprém, to its original state and breathing new life into the building, based on the designs of Pro Architectura and Ybl Prize-winning architect Anthony Gall."
